MANAMA: Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH) was the Best Commercial Development in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.
BFH was honoured at the Arabian Property Awards 2008, organised by the Dubai-based ITP Publishing Group.
The awards function was held at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
"It is, indeed, an honour to receive such recognition within such a short span of opening Phase One - the Financial Centre, of our focused $3 billion development," said BFH chief development officer Nawaf Sadeddin.
"The BFH model has attracted a host of well-known international and regional financial sector firms, because this prime scenic waterfront property ensures significant value to its tenants," said Mr Sadeddin.
"The Arabian Property Awards 2008, which brought together industry leaders in the real estate sector from across the Mena region, successfully recognised the most innovative people and projects and acknowledged their outstanding contributions to the industry," said Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company managing director Dr Omer El Mardi.
